Double Track to Widen Your Image

Double tracking is a classic and effective technique for getting a massive stereo image. Simply take two similar but slightly different pieces of audio, place them on separate tracks, and pan them hard left and hard right. Doing this will thicken the sound of both audio channels, while making your mix sound larger and ‘more expansive.’
